Healing Me to be Leukaemia Free - A Self Discovery Journey
In 2011, I had the privilege of meeting Elaine Young at a Holistic Psychology Meetup workshop that I was leading. Elaine's radiant energy immediately captivated me, and as we shared countless coffee dates and swims in the pool, I got to learn about her incredible journey.
In 2017, Elaine faced a daunting diagnosis of Leukaemia, and the prognosis would shock many, but not Elaine. She harnessed all her knowledge and skills, collaborating with the medical field to heal her body.
Learning about Elaine's self-discovery journey amidst her battle with leukaemia, I was so happy to see her prepare to share this inspirational story.
Against the odds, Elaine, in her mid-70s and with limited computer skills and support, wrote this book. She's a shining example of what one can achieve with determination. Despite her health declining in November 2023, her story serves as a poignant reminder that we have the power to be the authors of our lives, crafting the best story possible.
